The Company has today received notification from Robert Booker that, on

3 March 2011, he exercised an option to purchase 1,340 Ordinary Shares of 10p each ("Shares") under the terms of the BG Group Sharesave Scheme at an option price of £7.16 per Share.

As a result, Mr Booker's interests in the ordinary share capital of BG Group plc have increased to 38,702 Shares, representing 0.001% of the Shares in issue.
