Following recent FSA clarification related to disclosure obligations in respect of the grant of security over shares by a director, Pan Andean Resources PLC ("the Company") announces that it has received notification that John Teeling, Chairman of the Company, has pledged 5,601,650 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company, representing approximately 4.70% of the Company's issued Shares, as security against personal borrowings.
