Legal & General Group PLC18 September 2006 Dealing in Legal & General Group Plc ("Group") Shares Following a review of director's dealings Legal & General today announces thefollowing dealings in ordinary shares of 2.5p (shares) by executive directors ofGroup. On 2 May 2006, R. A. Phipps exercised options granted under the Savings RelatedShare Scheme (the Scheme) over 13,745 shares in Group at a price of 55p. Theoptions were granted on 1 May 2003. On 22 May 2006, C. R. R. Avery acquired 1,915 shares, on her Share Bonus Planholding, in accordance with the terms of the Group's Dividend Investment Plan ata price of 129.80p per share. On 22 May 2006, A. W. Palmer increased his share holding by 273 shares. Theshares were acquired by the Plan Administrator for the Maxi ISA of Mr Palmer'swife at a price of 128.25p per share.
