Directors/PDMR interest in shares

EMPLOYEE BENEFIT TRUST

The Company has today received notification from Equity Trust (Jersey) Limited in its capacity as trustee of the Carpetright plc Employee Benefit Trust (the "Trustee" and the "Trust" respectively) that 6,380 ordinary shares in the Company were purchased by the Trustee on 7th April 2015 at a price of 4.34p per share. The Trustee's current holding of 45,538 shares which represents 0.07% of the issued share capital of the Company.

The PDMRs of the Company have an interest in the shares acquired by the Trustee as they are potential beneficiaries of the Trust. The Trust was established to facilitate the operation of the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan (the "LTIP") and it is intended that the shares will be used to satisfy awards made under the LTIP.
