Northern Petroleum (AIM: NOP) advises that, Mr Stewart Gibson, a Non- Executive Director of the Company has today purchased 100,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 31.0 pence per ordinary share. Following this transaction Mr Gibson has a beneficial interest in 100,000 ordinary shares representing 0.1 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.
