Notification of Transaction by Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility

In accordance with DTR 3.1.4R, we hereby advise that we have been notified today that Colin Day acquired 492 shares in AMEC plc on 4 July 2013 at a price of 1003.10 pence per share. Mr Day elected to receive these shares in lieu of the 2012 final dividend paid to shareholders on 1 July 2013.

Following the above transaction, Colin Day now holds 20,714 shares in AMEC plc, which represents 0.01 per cent of the voting rights of the Company.
