Re: Interests in the Ordinary Shares of Cable and Wireless plcThe Company was notified today 3rd April 2006 of the following transactions : * On 30th March 2006 the Trustees of Cable and Wireless plc Employee Share Ownership Trust ("the Trust") disposed of 20,418 Ordinary Shares at a price of ‚£1.085 per share; * On 31st March 2006 the Trust disposed of 55,468 Ordinary Shares at a price of ‚£1.095 per share; * On 31st March 2006 the Trust disposed of 73,370 Ordinary Shares at a price of ‚£1.0925 per share; and * On 3rd April 2006 the Trust disposed of 4,471 Ordinary Share at a price of ‚£1.08 per share Following the disposals, 50,985,868 Ordinary Shares are currently held underthe Trust.
