On 10 January 2008 the persons named below, who are directors of The Sage Groupplc, were granted options over ordinary shares of the Company with an exerciseprice of 214 pence per share under The Sage Group 1999 Executive Share OptionScheme:-Director Number of shares under option Paul Walker 343,457 Paul Stobart 198,598 Paul Harrison 156,542 Guy Berruyer 218,545 David Clayton 156,542
These options are normally exercisable, subject to the satisfaction of performance conditions and continued employment, from 10 January 2011 to 10 January 2018.
On 10 January 2008 the persons named below, who are directors of The Sage Group plc, were granted awards over ordinary shares in The Sage Group plc under the Sage Group Deferred Bonus Plan. The number of shares to which the award relates is specified opposite the director's name. No price is payable either on the grant or vesting of an award. The awards will normally vest, subject to possible forfeiture if the director leaves employment, on 10 January 2011.
