Standard Life plc ('the Company') was advised today by Computershare Investor Services PLC that, on 29 May 2009, the under mentioned executive directors and other persons discharging managerialresponsibilities acquired the following interests in ordinary shares as a result of participation in The Standard Life Share Plan:
