Holidaybreak PLC12 July 2006 12 July 2006: For immediate release HOLIDAYBREAK PLC Directorate update Holidaybreak, the European specialist holiday group, today announced that StevenWhitfield has been appointed to the plc Board with immediate effect. Mr. Whitfield was appointed Managing Director of Holidaybreak's Camping Divisionon 10 March. He had previously been the Camping Division's Operations Directorsince 1998, having originally joined the business in 1984. Mr Whitfield has not been a director of any other publicly listed company in thelast 5 years and there is no information to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13of the Listing Rules.
