Holidaybreak PLC04 April 2006 4 April 2006: For immediate release HOLIDAYBREAK PLC Directorate update The Board of Holidaybreak, the European specialist holiday group, notes today'sannouncement that Bob Ayling, its non-executive Chairman, is taking up theadditional position of Chairman at Sanctuary Group. This does not affect Mr. Ayling's position at Holidaybreak. Indeed, the Boardhas extended his tenure for a further three years from 1 June 2006.Mr. Ayling was appointed a Non-executive Director of Holidaybreak in February2003 and became Chairman in June 2003. Holidaybreak CEO Carl Michel said: 'I am delighted that Bob will remain Chairmanof Holidaybreak for at least the next 3 years.
