10 February 2010 Avia Health Informatics Plc ("Avia" or "the Company") Directorate Change Non-Executive Director appointed and Plain Healthcare restructures senior management team to facilitate global market penetration * Roger Lane-Smith appointed Non-Executive Director of Avia * Plain Healthcare restructure into two profit centres - UK and International * Tim Morris appointed UK Operations Director of Plain Healthcare * Chris Coyne appointed International Business Director of Plain Healthcare * Plain Healthcare's Director of Practice Innovation Robert Crouch made a Visiting Professor at Surrey University

Avia (AIM: AVIA), the developer and provider of clinical decision support systems worldwide, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Roger Lane-Smith as Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. Roger was formerly executive chairman and senior partner of DLA Piper Group LLP, the world's largest law firm and brings vast experience in worldwide business operations, corporate strategy and commercial management disciplines. The disclosures required under AIM Rule 17 are set out below.

In addition, to help achieve Avia's objective of global penetration of the Clinical Decision Support market through a strategy of added value partnerships within the UK and internationally, its operating subsidiary, Plain Healthcare has restructured its senior management team and formed two profit centres covering the UK and the rest of the world.

As a result of the above changes and with immediate effect, Tim Morris, previously product development director, is appointed UK Operations Director with responsibility for sales, marketing and product development in the UK and Chris Coyne, previously sales and marketing director, is appointed International Business Director with responsibility for the generation of sales in the international market, and to identify products from international third party suppliers to be sold in the UK market.

In addition, the Company is pleased to announce that Robert Crouch, Director of Practice Innovation, has been made a Visiting Professor at Surrey University, reflecting his international standing as a leader, teacher and researcher in emergency nursing. The Company now has a second Professor among its directors and senior management team which further emphasises the Company's focus on developing products which are at the cutting edge of clinical practice.

Avia Health Informatics plc was admitted to trading on AIM on 16 November 2009 having completed a reverse takeover of The Plain Software Company Limited ("Plain"). It is Avia's intention to grow the business both organically and by acquisition.

Securely held on N3 servers, its sophisticated security system allows access via domestic broadband. * Odyssey FirstAssess is being developed specifically for use in the Prison service to help improve healthcare in this challenging environment.

Odyssey products interact with leading GP patient administration systems and other key systems used by the NHS.
