Board Appointment

RPS is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Page ACA as a non-executive director of the Group, with effect from 15 September 2014.

Andrew was Chief Executive of The Restaurant Group Plc ("TRG") from 2006 until August 2014, having previously been Group Managing Director and Finance Director of that business. He has over 25 years of operating at PLC board level.

Prior to joining TRG, Andrew held a number of senior positions in the Leisure and Hospitality industry including Senior Vice President at InterContinental Hotels Group. Before that, he was a Corporate Financier at Kleinwort Benson having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KMPG in July 1982.

He is currently a non-executive director of Carpetright plc and was previously the Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Arena Leisure Plc.

No other information is required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13.

On his appointment, Andrew will join the Group's Audit and Remuneration Committees. As previously announced, John Bennett, the current Audit Committee Chairman, will be retiring and stepping down from the Board at the AGM in May 2015. At that time, it is envisaged that Andrew Page will take over as Chairman of the Audit Committee.
