About Trendit:
Trendit provides cutting-edge technology for real-time monitoring of population movement, trend analytics, and crowd behaviour. Trendit's technology has the ability to analyse data collected from as little as a single data source, and merge individual network events together with geographical information that create "population clouds," which analyse and predict trends.
The Company is seeking to become a global player within the Big Data Analytics space and believes it is well placed to capture significant market share in what is a multi-billion dollar industry.
The Company's Technology:
Trendit's technology has the ability to analyse data collected from as little as a single data source, and merge individual network events together with geographical information that create "population clouds," which analyse and predict trends.
The single data source, able to sample as little as only 15% of the population (e.g. cellular operator with only 15% market share) in a specific geographic area, can provide sufficient information for representing crowd behaviour of an entire population with about 85% accuracy, calculating how many people are located in a given area and groups people by various segments (social economic, place of origin, etc.).
The heart of the Trendit technology is the "Trend Engine." Divided into several modules it is responsible for processing the incoming data streams, calculating the incoming data, providing a depiction of the data in real-world terms and providing an estimation of the population based on the analysis.
