Directorate Changes
SimiGon, Ltd. (LSE: SIM), a global leader in modelling, simulation and training solutions, announces that after more than 14 years as Non-Executive Chairman of SimiGon, Alistair Rae has today stepped down from the Board of Directors. Mr Rae has been replaced by Simon Bentley who has assumed the role of Senior Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. Alongside these directorate changes the Company's Chief Executive Officer, Ami Vizer, has taken on the additional role of Executive Chairman.
Mr Bentley has considerable experience at board level of UK listed public companies and has held a wide variety of executive and non-executive roles during the course of his career. Mr Bentley is currently Executive Chairman of Dominion ATM Banking Systems Ltd, trading as Cash on the Move, a UK mobile cash operator and a Non-Executive Director of Premier Foods plc. Among previous appointments, Mr Bentley was Chairman and Chief Executive of Blacks Leisure Group plc from 1987 to 2002, Deputy Chairman of law firm Mishcon de Reya from 2002 to 2009 and Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of Sports Direct International plc from 2007 to 2018. Mr Bentley is a certified FCA, having previously been a senior partner at Landau Morley LLP.
In addition to the Board changes detailed above, the Company expects to announce a further senior executive management appointment in the near future.
