Directorate Changes

Entertainment One Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ronald Atkey PC, QC, (68) as a Non-Executive Director of the Company and Mr Clare Copeland as Senior Independent Director.

Ron brings to the Board his extensive experience in government regulation and international business transactions with particular expertise in the arts, entertainment and media industries across North America.

Ron is a lawyer who practices business and regulatory law with a focus on the regulation of Canadian cultural industries. He was a partner at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP in Toronto for over thirty years before he retired in 2007. He also served as a Member of the Canadian Parliament for two terms between 1972 and 1980, during which time he served as Minister of Employment and Immigration from 1979 to 1980. In 1984 Ron was appointed by the federal government as the first Chair of the Security Intelligence Review Committee and remains active in the security intelligence field both as a university professor and in other public roles.

Ron Atkey will replace Sir George Bain, following his decision to step down from the Board.

Clare Copeland has been a non-executive director of the Company since its initial listing in 2007 and has now been appointed Senior Independent Director following the step up to a standard listing on the main market of the London Stock Exchange earlier this year.

Commenting on the changes, James Corsellis, Non-Executive Chairman, said:

"Given the breadth of Ron's expertise we are delighted to welcome him to the Board and look forward to working with him going forward. We are also pleased to continue to work with Clare in his new role as Senior Independent Director.

I would like to extend the Board's thanks to Sir George for his contribution over what have been three and a half transformational years for the Group, and we wish him all the best for the future."

There are no other details to be disclosed under Section 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
