StratMin Global Resources Plc (AIM: STGR) is pleased to announce the appointment to its board of Mr Zegham Choudhry, as a non-executive director, with immediate effect.

Mr Choudhry is an experienced banker and fund manager and brings a wealth of market experience to the StratMin team. He will also provide the Company with a permanent Board presence in London at a critical time as the Company pursues new opportunities following the recent divestment of its core graphite operation in Madagascar.

David Ranil Premraj has resigned from the Board with immediate effect in order to pursue a new full time role. Mr Premraj represented the interests of Consolidated Minerals Pte Ltd, which lead the original transaction to acquire the graphite assets in Madagascar. We thank Mr Premraj for his tireless efforts over a number of years and wish him all the very best in his new role.

The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Allenby Capital Limited as its nominated adviser and joint broker with immediate effect.

Mr Zegham 'Zeg' Rashid Choudhry, aged 51, is, or has been, a director or partner of the following entities within the past five years:

"We are repositioning the Company following the successful divestment of Graphmada and are delighted to welcome Zeg to the team to aid us with this. Our Vatomaina project is now development ready and we are looking forward to executing that with joint venture partner, Tirupati. In addition, we are looking at a range of new projects to bring into the Company that can fully utilise the Tranche 2 and Tranche 3 payments from Bass."
