Directorate Changes

John Menzies plc, the global aviation services provider and print media distributor, is today pleased to annuonce the following appointments.

New Non-executive Director

With effect from 19 May 2014, Silla Maizey will be appointed to the Board as a Non-executive Director.

Silla enjoyed an executive career at British Airways, where she had worked in a number of different functions over the years including; Finance, Procurement, Corporate Responsibility and Customer Services, but most recently as Managing Director of London Gatwick.

She is also Chair of NHS Business Services Authority and Chair and Non-Executive Director of the British Airways Retirement Plan, which is a Defined Contributions pension scheme.

There are no further details to be disclosed under 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.

Managing Director of Menzies Distribution

With effect from 1 June 2014, Forsyth Black will be appointed Managing Director of Menzies Distribution. In this role he will join the Group senior executive team but will not be a member of the Plc board.

Forsyth has been with the Menzies Group for over 14 years fulfilling a variety of roles, primarily within the Aviation division, where he is currently SVP of Africa, Middle East and India but also incorporating a period within the Distribution division earlier in his career.

He has a strong track record in commercial and managerial roles. He successfully lead the development of the Aviation business into India and Africa and has experience in growing businesses from start up.

Following his appointment Forsyth will work closely with David McIntosh to ensure an orderly handover.
