Shaftesbury PLC today, 1 October 2012, announces the appointment of Dermot Mathias and Sally Walden as non-executive directors.

The Company announced on 26 July 2012 that Dermot and Sally would join the Board and they have today formally been appointed directors of the Company.

There are no further details that are required to be disclosed in respect of their appointment under LR 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
