Hammerson PLC26 February 2007 Hammerson plc - Appointment of Jacques Espinasse as a Non-Executive Director Hammerson plc announces the appointment of Jacques Espinasse as a non-executiveDirector of the Company with effect from1 May 2007. Mr Espinasse joined Vivendi as Chief Financial Officer in 2002 and is a Memberof the Management Board. Previously Mr Espinasse was Chief Operating Officer of TPS La Television ParSatellite, an Executive Vice President at CEP Communication and, prior to itsprivatisation, Finance Director of Havas. Jacques is non-executive director of SFR, Maroc Telecom, Universal Music Group,Canal+ France, Vivendi Games, SES-Global and LBPAM. Mr Espinasse has in thepast been a lecturer at the Institute of Political Science of Paris, a member ofthe Loan Committee of Credit National, Auditor of the Institute of NationalDefense and an Advisor to the Director of the Institute of National Defense. Aged 63, Mr Espinasse holds a BBA and an MBA from the University of Michigan. John Nelson, Chairman of Hammerson said: " We are delighted to welcome Jacques Espinasse to the Board.
