Change of Director
Electric Word plc, the specialist information company, today announces that Quentin Brocklebank will be leaving the business and stepping down from the Board in February 2013 after more than five years as Finance Director and Board member. Quentin will step down as Finance Director after completion of the 2012 year end audit and, as announced on 24 December 2012, will leave the Group with no net debt* and its balance sheet in a stronger position than at any other time for the last six years. The Board would like to thank Quentin for his invaluable contribution to the development of the business and his outstanding dedication throughout that period.
William Fawbert, 41, will take over as Finance Director and join the Board in February 2013. William qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG and over the past 10 years has held managerial, finance and operational roles at Right Management, a talent and career management workforce solutions company within ManpowerGroup Inc. The Board welcomes William to Electric Word and looks forward to his contribution to the next phase of Electric Word's development.
There are no matters which are required to be disclosed under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
*Excluding £0.4m of contingent consideration
