GKN BOARD APPOINTMENT
GKN plc is pleased to announce the appointment to the Board of William C Seeger as Group Finance Director with effect from 10th September 2007.
Bill Seeger (age 55), a US citizen, joined GKN in 2003 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of GKN Aerospace, a role he held until June 2007 when he was appointed as President and Chief Executive Propulsion Systems and Special Products within GKN Aerospace and as a member of the Executive Committee of GKN plc. Prior to joining GKN, he held a number of senior finance positions during a 28 year career with TRW and was latterly Vice President Financial Planning and Analysis of TRW Inc. He holds a BA in Economics and an MBA, both from UCLA.
GKN Chairman, Roy Brown, said "I am very pleased to welcome Bill Seeger to the Board of GKN. His wide ranging international experience of financial management in both the Automotive and Aerospace industries makes him ideally suited to the role of Group Finance Director."
There are no matters to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority.
