AMEC PLC17 March 2008 Finance Director resignation AMEC plc, the international engineering and project management company, todayannounces the resignation of Stuart Siddall, Finance Director. Following thesale of SPIE in 2006, the successful transformation of AMEC and sale of itsnon-core UK construction activities during 2007 and the delivery of recordresults, Stuart leaves with AMEC well positioned for an exciting future and withprospects which have never been stronger. Stuart will step down from the Board following the company's annual generalmeeting on 14 May 2008 and will leave at the end of May 2008. The process to appoint his successor will commence immediately.
