William Hill PLC25 June 2007 25th June 2007 WILLIAM HILL PLC Chief Executive to stand down William Hill ('the Company') PLC today announces that David Harding, ChiefExecutive, is to stand down by the end of 2007. The Board has put in place aprocess to appoint his successor. David Harding said: "Having spent seven years helping to build the Company intothe UK's leading bookmaker, the time is right to move on and I am lookingforward to a new challenge." Charles Scott, Chairman, said: "David joined as Chief Executive in 2000 duringwhich time he has made a tremendous contribution to building William Hill as apublic company. The Board accepted his decision to step down with regret andwill continue to work closely with him during the transition phase. The Companyis in good health and given the depth of management talent, the Board has everyconfidence that William Hill will continue its strong performance as we searchfor David's successor."
