Glanbia PLC24 May 2006 Directorate Changes Glanbia plc ("the Company") announces the following board changes with effectfrom 24 May 2006: * the appointment of Mr. Patrick Gleeson as a Non-Executive Director of the Company; * the appointment of Mr. Martin Keane as a Non-Executive Director of the Company; * the retirement of Mr. Eric Stanley as a Non-Executive Director of the Company; and * the retirement of Mr. John Miller as a Non-Executive Director of the Company. Mr. Gleeson is a Director of Glanbia Co-operative Society Limited, a CommitteeMember of Centenary Thurles Co-operative Society Limited and farms atLoughmore, Templemore, Co. Tipperary. Mr. Keane is a Director of Glanbia Co-operative Society Limited, DonaghmoreFamine Work House and Agricultural Museum Co-operative Society Limited andfarms at Errill, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. Mr. Gleeson and Mr. Keane have notified the Company that they have no details tobe disclosed as required under Paragraph 6.6.13, Chapter 6 of the Irish ListingRules and Paragraph 9.6.13, Chapter 9 of the UK Listing Rules. Mr. Gleeson has today (24 May 2006) on his appointment notified the Company,pursuant to Section 53 of the Companies Act, 1990 as extended by Section 64 ofthe Companies Act 1990, that he is interested in 2,423 ordinary shares of €0.06 each in Glanbia plc.
