AMCO Corporation PLC10 January 2007 AMCO CORPORATION PLC ("The Company") 10 January 2007 APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS Further to the announcement on 22 December 2006 regarding the planned retirementof Stuart Gordon as Executive Chairman and Mike Speakman as Non-executiveDirector, the board of Amco is pleased to announce the appointments of two newdirectors. Peter Hems will be appointed a director with effect from 1 April 2007and as Executive Chairman upon Stuart Gordon's retirement. John Gordon will beappointed as Non-executive Director also with effect from 1 April 2007. Peter Kenneth Hems (aged 57 years), a chartered accountant, is a partner ofGrant Thornton UK LLP and has been a partner since 1979. He will cease to be apartner on 31 March 2007, but will continue in a consultancy role for the firmand as Chairman of Trustees for The Grant Thornton Defined Benefit PensionScheme. In addition, Peter is currently a director (but will resign prior to 1April 2007) of Grant Thornton Nominees Limited, GTN1 Limited, GTN2 Limited,Grant Thornton Property Nominees Limited, GTPN1 Limited and GTPN2 Limited. Peterwas previously a director of Bethwell Limited. John Stuart Gordon (aged 40 years), a solicitor, is a partner in FreethCartwright LLP, a firm of solicitors, and a director of Gordon SecuritiesLimited.
