BP PLC06 June 2007 June 6, 2007 CEO OF ANGLO AMERICAN TO JOIN BP BOARD The board of BP announced today that it has appointed Mrs Cynthia Carroll as anon-executive director of BP p.l.c. with immediate effect. Mrs Carroll, 50, is the chief executive of Anglo American plc, the mining andnatural resources group. She previously worked for Alcan Inc., latterly as thepresident and chief executive of Alcan's Primary Metal group. She is also anon-executive director of the Sara Lee Corporation.
