Appointment of Director

Starvest PLC (LON:SVE), the London Stock Exchange AIM listed specialist mining and resources investment business, announces the appointment of Mr Mark Badros as an independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Mark Joseph Badros, aged 47, graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University and received his law degree cum laude from Harvard Law School. He began his career practicing securities, mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate law in New York. Mark has more than 15 years of investment experience in public and private equities and has worked as an analyst and investment manager at mutual funds and hedge funds, including Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, Zweig-DiMenna Associates, Highland Capital and Ironbound Capital.
