Premier Farnell plc 24 August 2006 Board changes: Non Executive Director Premier Farnell plc, the leading global marketer and distributor of electronic,maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) products and services, is pleased toannounce the appointment of Andrew Dougal as one of its Non ExecutiveDirectors, with effect from 1 September, 2006.Mr Dougal is expected to make a valuable contribution to the Board of PremierFarnell plc. Since 2002 Mr Dougal has been a non-executive director of TaylorWoodrow plc and is currently Chairman of its Audit Committee. He was anon-executive director and member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees ofBPB plc from 2003 to 2005 and non-executive director and member of the AuditCommittee of Celtel International BV during 2004/2005.Mr Dougal qualified as a chartered accountant in 1975.
