LISTING RULE 9.6.11(3):

NOTIFICATION OF IMPORTANT CHANGE TO THE ROLE OF MARTIN KANE, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, SEVERN TRENT PLC

Severn Trent Plc announces that Martin Kane, executive director of Severn Trent Plc, with current responsibility for Customer Relations within Severn Trent Water Limited, is to be appointed to the post of Chief Executive, Severn Trent Services, based in Fort Washington, Philadelphia. Martin will succeed Len Graziano, a member of the executive team, who is retiring from the company.

Severn Trent is now focussed on planning and implementing a smooth handover process to ensure business continuity within Severn Trent Services and managing the succession for the ongoing leadership of Customer Relations, Severn Trent Water Limited.

A further disclosure in respect of Listing Rule 9.6.12 will be made in due course.
