Informa PLC23 November 2007 23 November 2007 Informa plc Appointment of New Finance Director; Notice of pre-close trading update Informa plc announces that Adam Walker has agreed to become Finance Director ofthe Company. He is currently the Finance Director of National Express Group plc. Adam has been Finance Director of National Express since March 2003, havingjoined as Corporate Development Director in 2001. Prior to that he spent anumber of years in investment banking and corporate finance with NatWest Marketsand Arthur Andersen. He is a chartered accountant. Commenting on his appointment, Peter Rigby, Chairman of Informa, remarked: "I am extremely pleased that Adam is to become our next Finance Director. He hasan excellent background both as CFO of a substantial listed company and in termsof corporate finance experience. I am confident that he will make a significantcontribution to the Group." National Express have asked Adam Walker to remain with them until theannouncement of their preliminary results on 28 February 2008. He will thereforejoin Informa shortly thereafter. There are no other matters relating to the appointment of Adam Walker that needto be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13. Informa also announces that it is trading well and is on course to meetexpectations for the group for the full year. A pre-close trading statement willbe made on 17 December.
