NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR CHANGES
In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11, Tesco PLC today announces that Ken Hanna and Stuart Chambers have decided to retire as Non-Executive Directors from the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held on 26 June 2015. Ken and Stuart have served on the Board for six and five years respectively.
Byron Grote, Non-Executive Director, joined the Audit Committee with effect from 1 May 2015, and will become Chairman of the Audit Committee upon Ken's retirement on 26 June 2015. John Allan, Non-Executive Chairman, joined the Remuneration Committee with effect from 20 April.
John Allan, Chairman, said "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Ken and Stuart for their loyal and valuable contributions to Tesco, and we wish them well for the future."
