Board changes

Laird PLC ("Laird"), a global technology company focused on providing components and solutions that protect electronic devices from electromagnetic interference and heat, and that enable wireless connectivity through wireless applications and antennae systems, today announces the appointment of Paula Bell, who will be joining the Board as a non-executive Director with effect from 2 March 2012.

Paula is the Group Finance Director of Ricardo Plc, and has previously worked for BAA Plc, AWG Plc and Rolls-Royce Plc. She brings excellent international and commercial experience in addition to her financial expertise.

Andrew Robb and Dr Bill Spivey will be retiring as non-executive Directors at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 4 May 2012. Paula will succeed Andrew Robb as Chairman of the Audit Committee on that date.
