Appointment of Director

Polar Capital Holdings PLC ("the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Anand Aithal as a non-executive Director at the next meeting of the Board on 17 January 2022.

Anand is an entrepreneur with expertise in knowledge-intensive professional services organisations. He is a board member of Lifescale Ltd, a financial technology firm and BPL (Holdings) Limited, a specialist insurance broker. Anand is also a non-executive board member of the UK Cabinet Office and a non-executive appointee to the Council Board of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

He was a co-founder of Amba Investment Services Ltd, a leading provider of data analysis services to the financial services industry. Previously, Anand had been a managing director at Goldman Sachs where he gained extensive business experience in international and emerging markets, having worked in multiple locations in Asia, Europe and the Americas.
