Board Changes
London: 31 March 2010 - Oxus Gold Plc ("Oxus") (OXS.L) confirms that, as announced on 7 January 2010, Mr John Donald, Chief Operating Officer, will be retiring from the Oxus board with effect from 31 March 2010. He has agreed to consult for Oxus until 31 December 2010. The position of Chief Operating Officer will remain vacant pending completion of the CITIC Consortium funding also announced on 7 January 2010.
Richard Shead, Executive Chairman, commented "On behalf of the board I would like to thank John for his valuable contribution to Oxus over the last seven years and I wish him well in his retirement".
Jyoti Chandhok has resigned as Company Secretary with effect from 31 March 2010. Mr Richard Wilkins, Financial Director, will be appointed the Company Secretary thereafter.
