Flomerics Group PLC04 September 2006 Flomerics Group PLC ("Flomerics" or the "Company") Appointment of Director Subsequent to the announcement made by the Company on 15 June 2006, regardingthe proposed acquisition of Nika GmbH (Nika) and the Extraordinary GeneralMeeting held on 5 July 2006, the board is pleased to announce the appointment ofWolfgang Biedermann, aged 44, as a director of the Company. Wolfgang Biedermann is CEO of Pricap Venture Partners AG ("Pricap), which priorto the acquisition by Flomerics, was the largest shareholder in Nika. Pricap isa venture capital company and has a portfolio of investments with a net equityvalue of approximately €35 million. He studied in Paris, Oxford and Berlin atthe EAP, the European School of Management and achieved a BA and achieved an MBAwith distinction from the Harvard Business School. Wolfgang Biedermann's continuing directorships over the past five years are asfollows: Steganos GmbH, FrankfurtGAM GmbH, HamburgLampito Vermogensverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH, HamburgMaWoBi Beteiligungs GmbH, HamburgPricap Venture Partners AG, HamburgNEWMEX Holding GmbH, HamburgSmart Fuel Cell AG, MunichPACT XPP Technologies AG, MunichthinXXS Microtechnology AG, ZweibruckenUMS United Medical Systems International AG, Hamburg In addition, in his capacity as a venture capital investor, Mr. Biedermann was anon-executive director of the privately held early stage company Extr@com AG,Munich, when it went into receivership in December 2003 and of the privatelyheld early stage company Scorpion Technologies AG, Hamburg, when it went intoreceivership in April 2006.
