Workspace Group PLC27 March 2007 WORKSPACE APPOINTS NEW FINANCE DIRECTOR Workspace Group PLC ("Workspace"), the leading provider of flexible businessaccommodation to small and medium sized enterprises in London, today announcesthe appointment of Graham Clemett as Group Finance Director. Graham, aged 46,joins Workspace from The Royal Bank of Scotland plc where he was FinanceDirector, UK Corporate Banking. Graham will replace Mark Taylor who has advised the Company that after 12 yearsas Group Finance Director that he wishes to retire. Tony Hales, Chairman of Workspace commented, " We are delighted that Graham will be joining us as Finance Director. He bringsconsiderable experience as a Financial Director in the financial servicessector, both through his time with RBS and at Reuters before this. I amconfident that he will bring a new perspective to the Group and the role ofFinance Director. " Graham's appointment follows Mark Taylor's decision that he wishes to retire.Mark has been Finance Director for the Group for 12 years, during which timeWorkspace has grown from a market capitalisation of less than £50m to over£850m. He has played an active role in all aspects of the Group's development,including the recent conversion to Real Estate Investment Trust ("REIT") status.The Board has accepted Mark's decision reluctantly and is discussing with himthe transitional arrangements which will include a period of overlap. A furtherannouncement will be made advising of the exact date of Mark's retirement fromthe Board which is likely to be following the publication of the Annual Reportand the Annual General Meeting.
