Board Change
Hardy Oil and Gas plc ('Hardy' or 'the Company'), the oil and gas exploration and production company with assets in India, announces that Mr Yogeshwar Sharma, Non-Executive Director, has informed the Board of his decision to step down as a director with effect from 30 September 2014.
The Board wishes to acknowledge Mr Sharma's immense contribution to Hardy, which he co-founded in 1997 and led in its early period of rapid growth. He helped build the Company's spread of exploration acreage in India that led to Hardy's successful listing, first on AIM and later on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.
The Company expects to announce the appointment of a new independent Non-Executive Director in due course.
