APPOINTMENT OF GROUP FINANCE DIRECTOR
Evolution Group Plc ("Evolution" or the "Group"), the investment bank and private client investment management group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Westenberger as Group Finance Director. Andrew will formally take up his role and join Evolution's Main Board on 8 April 2009.
Andrew has over 15 years of experience in investment banking finance roles. Most recently he was a Managing Director at Barclays Capital, where he enjoyed a successful eight year career in senior finance and Chief Operating Officer roles both in New York and London. His most recent role was as Chief Operating Officer for the Private Equity and Principal Investing business.
Prior to this, Andrew spent four years working in Interest Rate and Credit Derivatives at Deutsche Bank heading the Product Control groups in Europe and subsequently New York.
Aged 43, Andrew qualified as a chartered accountant in 1990 with Coopers and Lybrand, where he remained until 1993, when he moved to Bankers Trust as an Interest Rate Derivatives Product Controller.
Commenting on the appointment Alex Snow, Evolution's Chief Executive, said: "We are delighted that Andrew will be joining the Board and executive team at Evolution. His experience of finance issues in fast growing financial services groups will be important to ensuring that our finances remain well-managed as the Group continues to grow."
The Group confirms that it is not aware of any further details to be disclosed in respect of Mr Westenberger pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
