ITV PLC08 August 2007 ITV plc appoints two non-executive directors August 8, 2007 - ITV plc has appointed Agnes Touraine and Heather Killen asnon-executive directors, effective immediately. Agnes Touraine founded her own consultancy, Act III, in 2003 which advisesexecutives on strategies to re-start profitable growth. She also currentlyserves on the Board of Cable & Wireless plc and, prior to its acquisition byTravelocity, served on the board of Lastminute.com. She was Chairman and CEO of Vivendi Publishing Universal between 2001 and 2003.In this time she grew the business significantly, both through acquisition andby expanding the global distribution network. It became the third largestpublisher worldwide, generating revenues of $4.7 billion in 2003. Prior tothis, she was holding senior executives positions at Havas and Lagardere Groupafter having started her career at Mckinsey as a consultant and manager. Heather Killen is co-Founder and a Partner in Hemisphere Capital, a privateequity and corporate finance advisory boutique. At Yahoo!, the onlineinformation portal, she was the European Managing Director and then Senior VicePresident International Operations. She played a key role in Yahoo!'sinternational expansion throughout the late 1990s, establishing it in 22countries, before leaving in 2001.
