At its meeting today, the Board appointed Heidi Roizen, aged 54, as an independent non-executive Director.
Ms Roizen, who is based in Silicon Valley, California, has a breadth of relevant industry experience including digital media and of entrepreneurial growth as well as conventional business development. She has extensive experience in public, private Company and non-profit boards in the US.
Ms. Roizen is a Venture Partner with global technology investment firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson. She also serves on the faculty of Stanford University, where she teaches "Spirit of Entrepreneurship" in the Engineering Department. Ms Roizen currently serves on the board of TiVo Inc as well as numerous venture-backed privately-held technology companies. She has served on over twenty boards, including within the past five years Yellow Media inc from 2009 to 2011 and Online Resources Corporation from 2008 to 2009, and has also served as a Public Governor of the Pacific Exchange. Her past endeavours include T/ Maker Company, which she co-founded and served as CEO, and Apple Computer for which she was Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations.
There are no further details in relation to this new director which require disclosure pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority.
