Dublin, London, 8 March 2011: United Drug plc (the 'Group') announces that on 7 March 2011 Ms. Annette Flynn stepped down as an Executive Director of the Board due to personalcommitments and was appointed as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Ronnie Kells, Chairman of the Group commented: "On behalf of the Board, I would like to recognise and thank Annette for her contribution to the Company and we are pleased that Annette's knowledge and experience will be retained in an Non-Executive Director capacity".
