Ashtead Group plc (“Ashtead”) today announces the appointment of Lucinda Riches as a non- executive director as of 1 June 2016.

Lucinda is a non executive director of CRH plc, Diverse Income Trust plc and ICG Enterprise Trust plc.

Ashtead confirms that there are no further disclosures required under the Listing Rules in respect of Lucinda Riches.
