GreenSquareAccord appoints housing stalwart as CFO
GreenSquareAccord (GSA), who own and manage 25,000 homes in diverse communities across the West Midlands and South West England have named Mona Shah as their new Chief Financial Officer.
Mona has more than two decades of experience of working in the housing sector in finance leadership roles. Most recently, Mona served as Chief Financial Officer for social landlord Grand Union Housing Group having supported their merger with Longhurst Housing. The merger, completed in December 2024, created a new housing association called Amplius.
Commenting on her appointment, Mona Shah, said: "I am excited to be joining GSA as it enacts its ambitious yet agile strategy that is focused on the customer. To be successful in challenging times, organisations need to be innovative, and GSA continues to do this whilst acknowledging that difficult decisions need to be taken too.
"It was clear from the selection process that GSA is really living its values, and I look forward to meeting more of my new colleagues in the coming months."

GSA was formed in 2021 when GreenSquare and Accord Housing Group became one organisation.
Mona is set to take up her post as GSA'S Chief Financial Officer on Tuesday 17 June.
