Board Changes

The Board of Nature Group (AIM: NGR), the AIM quoted provider of port reception facilities and waste treatment solutions for the oil, marine and process industries, is pleased to announce several changes to the Board of Directors.

Firstly, Kieron Becerra FCCA has been appointed Group Finance Director and will take over the role from Peter Snell FCA who will remain on the board as a non-executive Director.

Richard Eldridge will be retiring as Chairman as planned, albeit slightly earlier because of illness, but he will remain company secretary and corporate counsel which will ensure the Group continues to benefit from his extensive experience. Bernard Muller, Deputy Chairman, will become Chairman, a role that is not new to him as he is currently the Chairman of the Burando Group in Rotterdam, the previous owner of ISD, Nigel Sandy, currently a non-executive director, will become Deputy Chairman.

In a further change to the Board, Stig Keller, has decided to step back from the Nature Group Board. He will continue on the Norwegian subsidiary board to focus on the technical developments to support the Group's growth ambitions in the oil and gas sector.

The Group is seeking to recruit an Executive Director based in Rotterdam to support our CEO with responsibility for all compliance matters relating to operational legislation, health and safety and management systems under the ISO regime.

Commenting on these changes Chairman Richard Eldridge said "We are very pleased to be announcing these significant advances in the progression of our company towards its international goals. I have every confidence in Bernard's vision for the future. Meanwhile I would like to thank Peter for the huge contribution he has made to Nature Group over the years and I know that we are all pleased that he will be around to help and support Kieron going forward. I would also like to thank Stig, who has been the driving force behind the development of our CTU and biological treatment technologies. We are very pleased that he will continue on the Norwegian subsidiary board".

Bernard Muller, incoming Chairman commented "I would like to thank Richard for his outstanding work in bringing together Nature Group to create the global business it is today. He hands over the role of Chairman with the Group on a strong footing and with an exciting period of growth ahead. We are all especially pleased that Richard and Peter will remain on the Board and that our company will continue to benefit from their experience. Overall these moves materially strengthen the company's management structure at a time when it is poised for further significant expansion."

Kieron Charles Joseph Becerra FCCA (aged 32)

Kieron, a Gibraltarian national, joined Nature Group in 2010 as Finance Director of Nature Port Reception Facilities in Gibraltar His initial career was as an auditor in London, since then he has gained substantial experience within industry involving international reporting and management. In September 2008 he joined a leading legal practice in Gibraltar, where he served as a Financial Controller, leading the accounts team and managed all financial aspects of the company. He is a member of the Gibraltar Society of Accountants.
