Appointment of Jacqueline Daniell as Executive Director

Wey Education plc (AIM:WEY), the education group operating an established online independent secondary school in the UK, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Jacqueline Daniell, as an Executive Director of the Company.

Mrs Daniell, aged 55, is one of the founders of InterHigh and will take on a new role as Executive Director (Marketing and Administration). She was the Chief Executive of InterHigh whose roles have previously included overseeing enrolments, partnerships and new ventures.

Mrs Daniell studied Architecture at Nottingham University, and later part time postgraduate degrees in Management at Glamorgan and Town and Country Planning at the University of West of England, Bristol, and spent most of her career working as a Project Manager on large building development projects. In 2005 she was involved in the design of InterHigh and then took on the administrative responsibilities of the school.

David Massie, Chairman, commented: "We are delighted to welcome Jacqui to the Board. Her extensive experience of the business will be of significant benefit to the Company as we seek to expand into new markets. We look forward to her contribution over the coming years."

The following details in relation to the appointment of Mrs Jacqueline Karen Daniell are disclosed in accordance with Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules:

Mrs Daniell has an interest in 10.89 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

There are no other disclosures in accordance with Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules.

Wey Education is a holding company of an educational group. Through InterHigh the Company owns and operates a fully interactive, online non-selective independent secondary school in the UK, offering IGCSEs and 'A' Levels. In July 2016 the student roll at InterHigh was 647 students. It has now launched a second semi-selective school. The Group has identified many opportunities to expand InterHigh domestically in the UK and globally, and moved from ISDX to AIM on the 11 December 2015 to facilitate further growth.
