Aberdeen Asset Management PLC ("the Company") announces that Mr Kenichi Miyanaga has advised of his intention to resign as a non-executive director of the Company, with effect from a date to be agreed, following changes of responsibilities within Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation ("MUTB"). Under the terms of the business and capital alliance with MUTB, MUTB will nominate a replacement for Mr Miyanaga and application will be made to the FCA for approval to appoint.
