Renold PLC29 June 2006 RENOLD plc BOARD APPOINTMENT Renold plc is pleased to announce that Peter E Bream is joining the Board as anExecutive Director with effect from 1 July 2006. Peter Bream, aged 39, was Finance Director of Provalis PLC, a UK listed company,for three years until March 2006. Prior to joining Provalis, Peter was aDivisional Finance Director for API Group PLC, also a UK listed company. Peteris a chartered accountant and has an engineering degree from CambridgeUniversity. Peter will take over the position of Group Finance Director from Tony Brownfollowing the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting in September 2006, whenTony will retire from the Board. To ensure an orderly transition Tony has agreedto enter into a post retirement arrangement with the Company until 31 March2007. Renold confirms there are no details that are required to be disclosed inconnection with Peter Bream in connection with Rule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rulesof the Financial Services Authority.
