Uranium Resources PLC20 July 2006 Uranium Resources plc / Market: AIM / Epic: URA / Sector: Exploration Uranium Resources plc ('Uranium Resources' or 'the Company') Directorate Change Uranium Resources plc, the AIM listed uranium exploration and developmentcompany, has appointed James Pratt to its Board as a non- executive Director.Mr. Pratt replaces Leon Pretorius who is stepping down from the Board withimmediate effect due to other business commitments. Mr. Pratt's appointmentcomplements the Company's strategy of assembling a board with the experience andexpertise to acquire and invest in uranium projects with key focus on knowndeposits in Southern Africa and Australia. James Pratt is a geologist with over 18 years experience in the mining andexploration industry, principally in Australia and Africa. He is ManagingDirector of Leopard Minerals plc, an unlisted public company, which is exploringfor copper and gold in Kyrgyzstan. Previously he was Managing Director at DeepYellow Limited, an ASX listed uranium exploration company with projects inAustralia. Other positions held include Managing Director of Green Rock EnergyLimited, a geothermal exploration company listed on the ASX exchange. Mr. Pratthas previously worked on a consultancy basis for Uranium Resources. Uranium Resources Director Ross Warner said: "James has many years experiencein the mining and exploration sector. James helped us acquire our Tanzanianexploration projects, where we are about to start an extensive field workprogramme following positive assay results.
