APPOINTMENT OF A NEW DIRECTOR
The Board of Baronsmead VCT 3 plc is pleased to announce that Ian Orrock has been appointed as a Director of the Company with effect from 21 October 2010.
Ian Orrock has wide experience having founded, developed and sold a number of businesses particularly focusing on the international technology and telecoms sectors, and has also worked at board level in global organisations. He is currently a non-executive director of Henderson Private Equity Investment Trust Plc and is a director of a number of private companies.
Anthony Townsend, Chairman of Baronsmead VCT 3 plc, commented:

In accordance with the requirements of Listing Rule LR 9.6.13, the Company confirms that Ian Orrock was formerly a Director of Vianet Group Plc, Fobel Plc and Computer Resources (Group) Ltd. Vianet Group Plc and Computer Resources (Group) Ltd went into receivership in 2008 and 1981 respectively and Fobel Plc went into liquidation in 1990. No additional details need to be disclosed in respect of paragraphs 9.6.13(1) to (6) of the Financial Services Authority Listing Rules.
